 Rivet Sponsorship is a modern version of the war bond
drives that supported the war effort in WWII.This
is a call to arms to secure the support of you, your friends
and neighbors to help keep this national treasure in the
air.
A rivet is the most fundamental, yet critical part of
an aircraft. It binds the aircraft together and provides
its structural integrity. There are approximately 35,000
rivets in this P-51C Mustang. You can help keep this airplane
flying by purchasing an integral part of it. A rivet.
Your $30 donation per rivet provides you a rivet sponsorship
for the Mustang. We will record your name (or someone
you designate in honor or in memory of) as a Rivet Sponsor
and send you a commemorative certificate that recognizes
your contribution to this historic project. Please contact
