Rivet Certificate Rivet Sponsorship
Rivet Sponsorship is a modern version of the war bond drives that supported the war effort in WWII. This is a call to arms to secure the support of you, your friends and neighbors to help keep this national treasure in the air. A rivet is the most fundamental, yet critical part of an aircraft. It binds the aircraft together and provides its structural integrity.

Fundraising Progress

$621,159.51

Fundraising towards the Red Tail Project's $2,000,000 goal both donation and merchandise totals as of December, 2007

The Red Tail Project board has committed itself to raising $2,000,000 to fund the education fund as well as the costs related to rebuilding the airplane, lost in an accident on May 29, 2004.

"This Project is not about an airplane; the airplane is a tool we use to tell a story. We will continue our work to tell the story of the Tuskegee Airmen and what they represent."

Doug Rozendaal, Red Tail Project Director.
