The CAF Red Tail Project operates on volunteers. Without volunteers
the CAF Red Tail Project wouldn't exist. Acknowledging a volunteer
is a small token of our appreciation for all the work
that our dedicated volunteers do every day, every week,
all year long. Thanks again to everyone who volunteers
their valuable time to the important mission of the Red
Tail Project!
Minneapolis Photographer Tony Evans is the dynamic source
of the latest Volunteer of the Week and the source of
the Picture of the Week. As we often do, we once again
asked Tony to jump through hoops on short notice to help
design the “American Legend” ad for our fundraising
efforts. As usual Tony worked his photographic magic for
the CAF Red Tail Project. Thank you Tony, we couldn’t
do it without you!
This week we salute the contributions of Mr. Larry Brown
who has tirelessly worked to develop fundraising opportunities
for the CAF Red Tail Project. Mr. Brown has made great strides
in spreading the word about our Education mission. Larry’s
dedication to sharing the lessons of the Tuskegee Airmen
have raised both awareness and funds. Beyond this he has
volunteered his time into the wee hours of the morning
as we appeared on the WCCO Radio program hosted by Al
Malmberg.
Scott Romuld has made outstanding contributions to the
CAF Red Tail Project and most recently has distinguished himself
in developing the merchandising program for the ACES Mall
of America store. The creativity and diversity of Red
Tail branded hats, shirts and Red Tail Educational items
Scott has presented are worth the trip to ACES. He has
made a great commitment of time, energy, creativity and
practical resources to bring this merchandising program
to life. In addition Scott has enlisted the aid of his
staff and dedicated substantial space to organize, prepare
and ship the RTP items from his office. Watch for his
next addition in orchestrating the on-line sales aspect
of this program. Thank you Scott! Your efforts are greatly
appreciated.
