Charcoal drawing of Joseph P. Gomer. Signed by the artist, Kelli Spiller, and Joe Gomer. The copy reads "Joe enlisted in the Army in 1942. He earned his wings in May of 1943 and was assigned to the 301st Fighter Squadron. Joe flew 68 combat missions in the P-39, P-47 and P-51. He remained in the U.S. Air Force, flying the C-119 and C-47 during the Korean War. In 1964 he retired his distinguished career as a Major.Size: 11" (w) X 17" (h)
